Jessie Kovach LMBT #16212
I began my interest in Bodywork and Massage Therapist years ago as a senior project in high school. I have dabbled in many careers: Recreation Therapist, Esthetician, and made my way to my roots of massage in 2016, where I graduated from The American European Massage Clinic in Raleigh. After my schooling, I craved more and ventured to Costa Rica to learn Medical Massage in 2017 and also obtained my prenatal certification from Claire Marie Miller in 2018. I also offer abdominal massage, cupping and belly binding!I love the never ending learning within Massage Therapy.
My passion lies in helping others achieve their own internal happiness through a physical experience. I believe everyone deserves healthy balance, especially from within. My goal is to assist individuals with letting go, becoming more aware, and allowing yourself to create space especially within body. I am a Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer survivor. It has taught me to love myself, be open, and allow change to happen. This is true in the type of bodywork I provide as well. I enjoy working with anyone and everyone who is open and ready to receive bodywork and wanting to make a change in their life. My goal is to create a space allowing clients more awareness of their body and ways to improve their overall well-being. Sometimes we have to let go before we can allow ourselves to fully receive what is next to come.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my husband and sweet little pup! I enjoy spending time my fun loving family. I love going on adventures; hiking, canoeing, and exploring new scenery, most recently taking modern dance! You can usually catch me in our garden, walking our sweet Rosie, swinging in a hammock, enjoying sweet sunshine or working on a new art project. It’s all about balance for me, some stillness, some movement, and a lot of love.
