Kate Godly, PA-C, IBCLC, RYT200
Holistic Family Practice
Kate is a compassionate provider with a background in internal medicine, addiction, infectious disease, and breastfeeding medicine. She is thrilled to bring to Restoring Balance Integrative Health extensive knowledge and individualized treatment of diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, leaky gut, and all autoimmune conditions. Her particular interest lies in all things preventive and she views pediatric well visits as an amazing opportunity to empower children and teens to learn about their bodies. She also focuses on the power of the mind-body connection and enjoys connecting with patients of all ages, genders, and walks of life.
As a dancer, Kate has always found meditation and creativity through movement. After the birth of her son in 2011, Kate began to seriously study yoga and its eight limbs. It was then that she moved to North Carolina from NY/NJ area and found yoga to be her constant, amidst all the change. She struggled with post-partum thyroiditis and anxiety for the first time in her life. She learned to breathe again and feel comfortable in her new body. The mat was the place that renewed her spirit, organized her thoughts, and made her peaceful, yet strong.
In 2016, she felt called to become a yoga teacher, so Kate trained with Ashley Nunn of http://awakenedheartsanctuary.com and is currently assisting Ashley as they teach a 200 hour teacher training in Raleigh.
Come on out and do some yoga with Kate !
