Nina Kalantari LMBT #20047Nina Kalantari thinks she has the best job in the world, and she does! Through massage and bodywork, she finds joy in easing clients out of chronic pain, unhealthy stress, and muscular tension. Her most commonly-used therapies are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Myofascial, Shiatsu, Prenatal/Postnatal, Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, Kinesiology Taping, Reflexology and Bowen.
A recent transplant from the green mountains of Vermont, Nina ran her own massage business for seven years before moving to North Carolina. She spent the last three years as a Swedish and Deep Tissue teacher at the Wellness Massage Institute, and absolutely adored supervising student internship hours and volunteer massage events. To Nina, the two greatest rewards of being a massage therapist are: being entrusted with the privilege of helping clients relax into the happiest versions of themselves, and igniting the altruistic joy within students as they learn how to help others. Nina describes her massage style as thorough and deeply releasing. She combines many different modalities within each session to best meet each individual’s goals. She values high communication, and you can be sure she will listen to your preferences. Nina uses a variety of natural, organic, and unscented massage products, many of which she enjoys formulating in her own kitchen. In her spare time, Nina enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, exploring nature, biking, dancing, crafting, cooking, learning about nutrition, pilates, yoga and gardening.
