What to expect in a session
A deeply relaxing and invigorating reflexology session begins with a therapeutic foot soak in a comfortable chair.
For the actual reflexology, clients can be fully reclined on a massage table, head and legs supported by pillows.
For those more comfortable semi-reclined, please let us know. Prenatal sessions will be semi-reclined.
Foot and Toe stretches loosen up prepare the body to receive the treatment.
The use of hydrating foot cream is applied to the lower legs and feet (+hands) for the reflexology session.
Whole hand strokes are used, to releasing tension, increasing circulation,
relaxing the whole body and nourishing the nervous system.
Specific point stimulation of reflex points and meridians with varying pressure, tapping, brushing, and gentle stretching.
Sessions are performed on a massage table at our office, or in a relaxation reclining chair at our group and off-site events.
The entire session, with the foot soak and foot reflexology, lasts 60 minutes.
Hand reflexology may be used to further enhance the relaxation and therapeutic response in a 90 minute session.
